Richard is currently at Columbia University in the City of New York, double-majoring in Political Science and Sociology while on the Pre-Medicine track. In the 2011 Political Internship class, he worked at Senator Ted Lieu’s office. Back at school, he is a member of the Columbia International Relations Council and Association, Amnesty International, and CU Wushu. In his spare time, he enjoys studying martial arts, suiting up for no reason, playing way more video games than a responsible college student ought to, and eating Asian food until he passes out, in that order specifically.
Internship Reflection: I would like to say that I am very happy with the entire summer. It has been a great experience. Everyone I’ve met has been such an amazing person, and I look forward to continuing my involvement with the community and the professional world in Southern California, as well as a future with TACL.
