Alumni Eileen Lin

altAs a native of Kaohsiung, Eileen Lin has spent half of her life in Taiwan, one third in the U.S. and one sixth in Japan.  Upon graduation from the University of Virginia in 2004 with B.A. degrees in Foreign Affairs and East Asian Studies, Lin moved to Japan to start her career in public affairs and public relations sector.  She worked at Saijo City Hall promoting international exchange, and later at the Tokyo Stock Exchange marketing financial products to its global clients.  Lin returned to Washington, D.C. in 2009 to pursue a Master's degree in Strategic Public Relations at the George Washington University.  She is currently the Coordinator of the Young Professionals Group at the Formosan Association for Public Affairs, promoting grassroots advocacy for the advancement of Taiwan-US relations and enhancement of Taiwan's presence on Capitol Hill.  Lin is fluent in Taiwanese, Mandarin and Japanese.
