Julia is a workers' compensation defense associate attorney at Kegel, Tobin & Truce APC. She graduated from Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA and the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, CA. She was a former law clerk at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office as well as the United States Attorney's Office, Criminal Division in Sacramento.
Julia began involvement in TAP in LA since 2004. She was TAP Secretary and Social Programs Chair before becoming the Vice President for 2009-2010. Julia was a political intern in 2002 for Judy Chu, and a coordinator for the Political Internship Program in 2004 and 2009. She also acted as the Vice President for the TACL-LA Chapter from 2008-2009, and continues to help as a mentor for the Political Internship.
Julia eagerly awaits winters to snowboard, enjoys cooking/baking, loves to karaoke, and is a closet nerd (shhh). You can find her exploring the area around her new Downtown condo, stuck in traffic going to and from courthouses/satellite offices, or at a happy hour.
