Stephen Shih was born in Taipei, Taiwan but has lived in New York City for over 20 years since moving to the U.S. when he was little.  Stephen graduated with a BA from Wesleyan University, and has an MA and MBA from New York University.  Stephen has professional experience in equity research and investment banking, and currently works in M&A for a bulge bracket investment bank.  During his spare time, Stephen enjoys golf in the spring and snowboarding in the winter.  He is also an avid travel and culinary fan, and is always looking for something different to try at least once.  Stephen speaks fluent Mandarin and is conversational in Taiwanese.  This is Stephen's first year serving on the TAP NY board.  He looks forward to significantly contributing to the organization's efforts to broaden its reach and influence in the city.  Please do feel free to introduce yourself to him at the next event for more information or on how to get involved with TAP NY.
