Athena Chang was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. She graduated from National Taiwan Normal University. After college, she moved to the US to obtain her master's degree in Communications, Culture & Technology at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Through her first internship, she found interest in online marketing and is currently working as a Search Engine Marketing Manager at an advertising agency. Athena enjoys dining, blogging, traveling, meeting new friends and swimming.

Joseph Tien was born and raised in Houston, TX. He attended middle school and high school in China and Taiwan before moving back to the US for college. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 2006 where he majored in Business. After graduation, he worked in investment banking at UBS, and now works in private equity. Joseph is also a former founder and owner of Mantao Chinese Sandwiches, a restaurant in midtown Manhattan specializing in Asian-inspired sandwiches. In his spare time he enjoys poker, golf, basketball, shooting pool, and stand-up comedy. He is a former participant in the World Series of Poker and an amateur stand-up comedian.
