First and foremost, with the holidays just around the corner,
everyone here at TAP would like to wish you all a very TAPpy Holidays!
Many of you may already be aware of the
Chase Community Giving campaign on facebook and have already voted. But
remember, you are allowed 20 votes, so don't let it go to waste! The
top 100 charities receive $25,000! Voting ends December 11, so please
take a second to Vote for TACL.
Go here:

http://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunitygiving/charities/816777
It's easy! 1. Become a fan of Chase Community Giving. 2. Vote for TACL.
TACL is the non-profit organization behind TAP, and is also 100% run by
unpaid volunteers. Vote for TACL, to also support TAP!
Not only would funds go to benefit TAP's across the country, but TACL
supports various other youth leadership development programs, such as
high school scholarships, student internships (political,
entertainment, journalism), and summer youth camps (LID & LYF) in
addition to the Taiwanese Census 2010 campaign. These funds would go a long way.
To learn more about what TACL does, and where the funds would go to, you
can click here to see our Leadership Development programs:
http://tacl.org/programs/tacl-leadership-development/.
You may think your vote doesn't count but if we can get all our supporters and your friends to vote, it'll make a difference! If you voted already, please invite your friends to vote too!
On TACL and TAPs behalf,
We thank you for all your continuous support.

TAP is very excited to announce that we are supporting the
Heartfelt Foundation Annual Christmas Service Project.
THE
HEARTFELT FOUNDATION is sponsoring a Christmas/Holiday party for
hundreds of children in-need from ages 1-15 living throughout the
greater Los Angeles community.
Last year, more than 1,500
impoverished children and their families attended the event. The event
included ponies and a petting zoo, music, entertainment, hot food,
cookies and candy, refreshments and ice cream, clowns, music, games and
activities, a beautiful Santa's Village, and of course, Santa and toys
for every child. 200 volunteers lent their hearts, hands and energy to
providing a loving and transformational experience for children in the
most desperate of circumstances.
We invite you to volunteer to
help us (and Santa) distribute gifts, toys, lead fun activities and
bring special cheer to these underprivileged children and their
families.
The volunteer shift will be on Saturday, December 19 from 9am - 3pm. Volunteer responsibilities may vary. Only 5 volunteer spots remaining!
Want
to help out but can't volunteer? No worries! TAP is also assisting the
Heartfelt Foundation with collecting toys for the event!
Please
wrap the toys and indicate the gender and age group the toy is suitable
for (ages 1-15). Please try to refrain from toys Made in China (out of safety concerns).
For toy drop off locations:
1. San Gabriel Valley. Contact: Joy Cheng or Ed Chen
2. West LA. Contact: Connie Hwang
3. Downtown LA/Hollywood. Contact: Julia Tsai
