Brian is a SoCal boy, born and raised. He attends Northwestern University double majoring in Economics and International Studies, with a minor in Chinese (Class of ’13). He currently serves as the Intercollegiate Taiwanese American Students Association’s Vice-President as well as the TACL/ITASA Liaison. In his free time, Brian loves to swim, chill at the beach, longboard, hang out with friends, and freestyle rap. Every winter, one of his favorite things to do is to shred snow on his snowboard! Deeply passionate for international development and fighting global poverty, Brian aspires to make a difference in the world in whatever way he can.

Internship Reflection: I can definitely say that my TACL political internship experience has definitely shaped me to become a more knowledgeable individual, a better person, and ultimately, a stronger leader. Furthermore, I will cherish the memories and relationships gained from this invaluable experience.  I will never forget this summer – the summer that changed my life. I have definitely grown as an individual and as a leader. I am so grateful to have had this experience, and would like to thank TACL for this wonderful opportunity. I look forward to working with TACL in the future, and hopefully I can give back to the program in the future.
